We’re counting down the days until JCK Las Vegas! While we attend numerous events and tradeshows throughout the year, this is the one that we look forward to the most. And here’s why …
The People
The primary reason that we attend JCK is the people. We love the opportunity to see our customers from all across the country, pick their brains, and figure out ways that we can better serve them moving forward. We also love all of the QT that we get with some of our favorite industry professionals. Here are a few of the people that we’ll be on the lookout for:
- Robert Moussa of Bijou Inc
- Richard and Trudy Greenwood from A.F. Greenwood Company
- Ken Dugas of Stuller
- Scott Petrillo of Gesswein
- Stick Lorenzo and Dave Siminski from United Precious Metals
- Eric Schwotzer of Penn Gem
See you there? Stop by our booth when you get in, we’ll be waiting in anticipation.
The Brands
Just when we think we’ve seen it all the top jewelry designers find a way to impress us once again. And they do it at JCK. From rare gemstones to cutting edge designs, we can’t wait to see what they bring to the table this year. And as the authorized repair shop for top brands such as LeVian and David Yurman, this is also a great opportunity for our team to learn about the latest innovations, so that we too can stay ahead of the curve.
The Events
True to Vegas style when it comes to events, JCK doesn’t hold back. The rooms are filled with lights, music, and all sorts of entertainment. For four nights the jewelry industry goes wild, in a mostly appropriate way. While there are so many great events to choose from, here are the ones that we aren’t going to miss:
What’s on your short list?
The Memories
While we’ve collected so many great JCK memories over the years, when it came to narrowing it down to the best memory, we turned to Ross. Here’s what he had to say:
“Easy. It was my first Pumb Club Dinner, a few years back. The first moment of excitement was getting and invite from Richard and Trudy Greenwood of A.F. Greenwood Company. It only got better from there. When we walked into the room I was floored to see so many amazing people from all across the jewelry industry. And then, there was this guy named Jerry Seinfeld who just happened to be our entertainer for the evening. Good jokes. Great food. The best of people. It was certainly a night that I’ll never forget.”
Looking forward to all of the memories to come!
Let the countdown begin! We can’t wait to see you all there. Along with catching us at networking events, be sure to stop by the Jewel-Craft booth. Our new Jeweler’s Bench Challenge is a great way to test your steady jewelers hand. In this case, it may also serve as a reliable sobriety test. After all, it is Vegas.
